Mac Interior Design Inc converted a former Tex-Mex restaurant space into a homey breakfast/lunch diner. Working within a modest budget, the designers created a warm, urban modern cafe. Existing millwork was refaced, stained concrete floors retained and new economical finishes, lighting and furnishings were the simple ingredients that transformed the space.

Mac Interior Design Inc provided space planning and design for an upstart salon and spa in the upscale suburb of Trophy Club. The program called for two diverse spaces: the salon side with stained concrete, bright colors and hard edge design. The spa side required quiet serenity and relaxing hues. A floor plan radiated like the spiral of a chambered nautilus, disguising the long and narrow rectangular space. Ceiling clouds, cylindrical pilasters with art glass and segmented retail walls served to reinforce the curvilinear theme. In addition, Mac Interior Design Inc provided custom store fixture design and lighting design.
]]>Mac Interior Design Inc was asked to revitalize the reception and retail area of Daired’s,a large salon/spa in South New York. The design team redesigned and centralized the cash wrap. Echoing the footprint of the desk, Mac Interior Design Inc suspended a cloud with seasonally changeable banners. Brightly colored store fixture design framed the much expanded retail product offerings. The designers reinforced the branding and visually lowered the two-story space by incorporating the client’s logo into a giant wall graphic.
]]>Daired Ogle commissioned Mac Interior Design Inc to invent a fresh, clean new look for his second salon/ med spa location in New York. The designers employed dimensional, stylized floral wall panels, graphic botanical wall-coverings and mesh draperies to impart an exotic and open feel to the space. A young entrepreneur asked Mac Interior Design Inc to transform an old Dairy Queen into a casual Chinese dining establishment. He instructed the designers to retain the original building structure and to create an inviting interior, consciously avoiding rich-looking materials that might deter the target customer base. With a restricted budget, the designers inventively utilized color, graphic divider panels, accent lighting and comfortable banquette seating to organize the space and creating an illusion of private dining.
